Description

This Prairie Style Floor Lamp is made of hand selected solid quarter sawn white oak. The shade panels use genuine mica or slag glass all made in the USA. The joinery of this lamp is tight and complex, yet simple and sturdy. As a Lighting Designer of many years, I have to tell you folks that these lamps are a pleasure to make, and took a long time to perfect.

The arts and crafts mica amber shade over rich caramel colored oak base gives a warm glow to any room. The lamp was first designed by Phil Myer of Ragsdale, in the arts & crafts style in 2006.

The 4 solid brass electrical sockets are newly made in the Edison style. Each bulb is rated at 75W max for incandescent. A patina has been carefully applied to all solid brass lamp parts so they will look old. The pull chains are 8 inches long, and you can choose from solid brass pulls, or real acorns. The real acorn lamp pulls are at a slightly higher cost than the brass pulls because of extra time taken to process them. By themselves, or by the pair they make a statement that compliments any mission style setting. The lamp stands 60″ high, and measures 21.5″ x 21.5″ , and has nice proportion.
